Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love underwent an MRI on his ailing left knee Sunday, with the team already ruling out the four-time All-Star for Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The team reports that Love had left knee pain and water on the knee during and then after Saturday's home game against the Denver Nuggets.

Love is averaging 20.0 points, 11.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists for the Cavaliers (37-16), who have won five of their last six.

According to Brian Mahoney of the Associated Press, Love will be evaluated the "next several days" and could miss out on the All-Star Game. After visiting the Timberwolves, the Cavs will host IN on Wednesday night IN the final game before the All-Star break. He battled food poisoning and a lower back injury in January.

Love was selected as a reserve for the Eastern Conference and he was presented with his All-Star jersey - along with teammates LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, who will both start - before Saturday's game.
