Drake may not have been in attendance at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 12) night to witness Chance the Rapper's best new artist win firsthand, but the hip-hop superstar was still celebrating. Coloring Book was among our top 10 albums from a year ago.

Colouring Book nonetheless entered the top 10 on the United States albums chart, the first for a streaming exclusive, as Chance promoted the work through an active social media campaign.

The artist is also up for five more Grammy Awards including his performances on "Ultralight Beam" and "Famous" from Kanye West's The Life of Pablo, Best Rap/Sung Performance for "Ultralight Beam", Best Rap Album for Coloring Book. The rapper's connection to the Bulls runs even deeper as he recently appeared on the cover of ESPN the Magazine with the team's lone All-Star Jimmy Butler, who offered an accurate prediction of Chance's performance at the Grammys. From there, the Chi-town MC launched into snippets of "Blessings" and "No Problem" before closing things out with "All We Got".

It also features a string of up and coming Chicago-based musicians. "Oh, I'm going to talk", he said.

He added, "I love my family".

I've said it once and I'll say it again: This has been a very, very good year for Chance the Rapper.

Chance was the first unsigned artist to perform on Saturday Night Live and recently became the first artist to release a music video through Facebook Live with the launch of Same Drugs. Shouts out to every independent artist out there.

He thanked God for helping him win the award.
