Razer has updated its 14-inch gaming laptop Razer Blade with Intel's fastest Kaby Lake processor, faster memory, and an option for a 4K UHD screen.

That's backed, as with the predecessor laptop, by a GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB GDDR5 VRAM), and storage options running from 256GB through 512GB to 1TB (in the form of a PCIe M.2 SSD). Razer is continuing the trend going into 2017, with their latest offering of the 14-inch Blade.

As you'd expect, the 14-inch Blade ain't cheap - the Full HD model is now available in the US, Canada, UK, Germany and France at Razerzone.com, starting at $1,899 (£1,799) and coming elsewhere in March.

"The Razer Blade sets the benchmark for performance in thin laptops", said Min-Liang Tan, Razer cofounder and CEO, in a statement.

The Razer Blade also has Killer Wireless-AC and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity.

The new Blade is now available on Razerzone.com (for the USA and United Kingdom, as well as Canada, France and Germany), with prices starting at $1,899 (around AU$2,475) or £1,799 in the United Kingdom - it'll roll out worldwide in March.

Being that this is a gaming notebook first and foremost, it of course has an anti-ghosting keyboard with individual key lighting that is powered by Razer Chroma. Allowing users to customise the look and style of the keyboard with a choice of 16.8 million colours that can be synchronised with in-game events or even work to visualize your favorite music. The full HD model is available now on the company's site and at other United States retailers from February 20. The 4K variant will be available from Q2, pricing details regarding the 4K variant is yet to be available.
