Tom Arnold: Clinton begged me to release tape of Trump's racist rant

The actor added that he believes even if the tapes were released before the election, Trump still would have won.

Tom Arnold has claimed Hillary Clinton called him two days before the United States election begging him to release footage of Donald Trump using racist language on The Apprentice.

"I had all the Trump. him saying the N-word stuff". Who is responsible for the disrespect: Trump or the pastor? The weight of the free world is on your shoulders. l said, let me think about it. I hope when I find out what is going on, I hope he is not President any more.

He said he told the Democratic nominee: "I'd love to be a hero, but I can't hurt these families".

The 57-year-old alleged last year he had video of Trump repeatedly saying the "n--" and "every bad thing ever, every offensive, racist thing ever", but is now saying Clinton called him just two days before Americans went to the polls pleading for its release, the Telegraph reported. I said, "Well, now these people - two editors and an associate producer - are scared to death".

In an interview before going on the British sitcom, Arnold told a radio host he didn't want to release the hate speech out of respect for those involved. "They're scared of his people, they're scared of they'll never work again, there's a $5 million confidentiality agreement".

"We've already heard him talking about sexually assaulting women, and that didn't make a difference to the election", he said. "He is sexist, he's racist but I consider him a kind of joke", he said.
