Peabody double murder suspect Wes Doughty is believed to have carjacked a man at knifepoint in Middleton Wednesday night, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said.

The victim managed to escape when the suspect, believed to be Doughty, went into a liquor store near Tremont Street in Boston.

The vehicle is described as a gray 2006 Honda Accord four-door sedan with MA license plate 7KLY80.

Doughty was allegedly armed with a knife when he stole the vehicle and the two men drove to Boston.

Doughty, 39, is wanted for two counts of murder in the February 18 murders of Mark Greenlaw, 37, and his girlfriend Jennifer O'Connor, 40, in their Peabody home.

Forty-five-year-old Michael Hebb, of Peabody, was arraigned on Tuesday after being taken into custody without incident. He pleaded not guilty and was ordered to be held without bail.

Doughty remains on the loose and is considered armed and risky. Anyone who sees Doughty or knows of his whereabouts should call 911 or or state police at 1-800-KAPTURE (1-800-527-8873) immediately. He remains at large, the Essex District Attorney's office stated.
