Magic can be a unsafe game!

TMZ claims eyewitnesses reported that he was unconscious at that time.

Criss Angel's Las Vegas show came to an abrupt halt after the magician reportedly passed out during one of his acts.

Jon Katsilometes, a columnist for the Las Vegas Review Journal, tweeted that he has been "confidently told" that Angel will be performing on Saturday night, although he points out that "we have yet to hear any official explanation of last night's incident".

The 49-year-old illusionist was 10 minutes into his "Mindfreak Live!" performance - while suspended in the air upside down in a straight jacket - when curtains closed and guests were escorted out, according to TMZ.

Criss was taken to Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center's emergency room which is located approximately four miles away.

An audience member, Peter Sehl, took to Facebook to explain the fiasco.

"What an terrible experience!" He stopped moving, curtain down. Now show cancelled. Hope he is ok! "Didn't appreciated people's comments as they were leaving". Ryan also weighed in on whether audience members would be receiving refunds for their tickets, writing, "Update: They are giving full refunds". Remember Criss Angel's New Red Carpet Look??

Despite the scary circumstances, Criss recovered quickly.

This isn't the first time that particular stunt has resulted in injury for the star.
