IPL Schedule changed due to Delhi Municipal elections

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the revised timings of three Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 matches, owing to the Municipal elections, that to supposed to be held in Delhi on April 22.

Delhi Daredevils have confirmed that they will sign a replacement player for Duminy.

"We respect JP's decision".

The 32-year-old expressed disappointment on missing out on the action this year and is hopeful of representing Delhi Daredevils again in the coming seasons. "I certainly hope to play a part for the franchise in the near future", the Proteas star said.

Secondly, the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS), which was earlier scheduled at 8 PM in Mumbai, will be played in Pune at 4 pm on the same day (April 22).

Delhi Daredevils Chief Executive Hemant Dua made the announcement in a Press release issued on the Franchise's website on Monday, March 20.

The much-anticipated IPL will be played from 5 April to 21 May across a number of cities in India.
