Waco based H & B Packing company has recalled 73,742 pounds of boneless beef products, that might be contaminated with E. coli 0103.

The FSIS said the boneless beef products were produced on March 6, 2017.

The boneless beef was packed in 60-pound boxes, and carried a case code of 69029 and production date of March 6. Multiple "combo bins" containing 73,682 pounds of beef were also recalled marked with the same case code.

Products subject to recall have the establishment number of "EST.M13054" inside the USDA mark of inspection. The products affected should be thrown away or returned to the pieces of purchase. The items were shipped to food manufacturers within the state of Texas. No confirmed reports of illness have been received to date in connection with the consumption of this item.

The problem was discovered when FSIS was notified by the state of Texas' Meat Safety Assurance Unit about a positive non-O157 Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) sample.
