Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX), the chair of the House Rules Committee, faced a raucous crowd at a town hall event in Texas on Saturday as he attempted to explain Republicans' plan to repeal and replace Obamacare. "You don't know how to listen".

"I understand why you're so frustrated".

That comment was met with a chant of "Vote him out!"

"We're going to make the changes".

Sessions also defended Trump's refusal to release his tax returns, and expressed confidence that Congress will adequately investigate Russian interference in the presidential election, according to the Texas Tribune.

Sessions, in response to the angry crowd, said the vitriol from town halls will push lawmakers to end the open meetings. At one point, Sessions got so annoyed, he told the crowd the problem is, "You don't know how to listen". Many Republicans from both chambers denounced the bill for various reasons, with some saying it doesn't go far enough to repeal ObamaCare and others saying it's being rushed to the floor.
