Chuck Berry fans anxious that the rock legend's recent death would complicate plans for the release of his first album of new music in almost 40 years can lay those fears to rest.

In other news, according to BuzzAngle Music, sales of Berry's music have skyrocketed since the influential rocker's death Saturday.

The statement reads: "Working to prepare the release of this record in recent months and in fact over the last several years brought Chuck a great sense of joy and satisfaction".

The album is being released by Dualtone Records and more information on it will reportedly be available in the coming days.

Berry is survived by his wife, Themetta "Toddy" Suggs, daughters Melody Exes Berry-Eskridge, Ingrid Berry and Aloha Berry, and son Charles Berry Jr.

I first heard heard these songs on the radio and on the heavy green record player at my grandparents' house. "Now I can hang up my shoes!" "Inside the home, first responders observed an unresponsive man and immediately administered lifesaving techniques". Attempts to resuscitate the 90-year-old legend were unsuccessful.

'The family requests privacy during this time of bereavement'.

He concluded with a reference to "Roll Over Beethoven", Berry's 1956 hit that served as a rock & roll call to arms: "What I would give to see Beethoven's face now".

Paisley kicked off the song with the legendary "Johnny B. Goode" guitar riff as a photo of Berry was displayed behind him. Over the course of his career with the Beatles, the lads from Liverpool played over a dozen different Berry songs at live shows and on recordings, which helped the band eventually evolve their own original (and iconic) take on the genre.
