Spence was Pittsburgh's third-round pick in 2012.

Tennessee Titans inside linebacker Sean Spence celebrates after the National Football League game against the Houston Texans at Nissan Stadium.

The 5-foot-11, 231-pound Spence also played in three postseason games (one start) with the Steelers and tallied two tackles and one forced fumble.

The former Miami Hurricanes standout is coming off a sole season with the Titans in which he recorded 54 tackles, 3.0 sacks, and a forced fumble in 15 games (6 starts).

In recent seasons, the Colts inside linebackers have been rather ineffective in coverage over the middle of the field, and given his exceptional speed and aforementioned coverage grade, Spence theoretically should help significantly in that regard.

Jack Doyle #84 of the Indianapolis Colts dives for a first down after a reception against Sean Spence #55 of the Tennessee Titans in the fourth quarter of the game at Nissan Stadium on October 23, 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Spence's arrival continues the major changes to the Colts linebacking corps that have marked the early part of their offseason.
