Gavin Rossdale doesn't want any of his three sons to follow in his footsteps and become musicians. I would say go into tech, do something like that.

"You've got to be insane to have a career in music", the Bush frontman told This Morning when asked about his children's interest in music.

The Bush frontman raises Kingston, 10, Zuma, eight, and Apollo, three, with his ex-wife Gwen Stefani but he hopes none of them aspire to be like their famous father or mother because "you've got to be insane to have a career in music".

Rossdale, who has a new album out called "Black and White Rainbow" admitted that his ex-Gwen Stefani is still a huge influence over his music. I was with her for 20 years, so much in the same way I think for her material, I'm all over that material. "For me, I'm all over her material and she's all over mine and it's impossible to separate that".

"I have so many children", Rossdale explained. "So whatever they do is fine by me, they've just got to be positive, cool people, that's all I care about".

"There's only one downside, and that's the time away from my boys", he said of his gig. "They have a spring break and were going to come, but it's just not going to work out". Gwen pointed out, "You're going to be up all night, working all day". After 13 years of marriage, Stefani filed for divorce from Rossdale in August 2015, citing irreconcilable differences, and the divorce was finalised in April 2016.
