WR Quinton Patton Visits the Jets

Quinton Patton had the best year of his career in 2016, so it makes sense that the Jets are interested in the free agent.

Patton managed just 13 catches in his first two years while getting scant playing time behind Anquan Boldin and Michael Crabtree.

Patton was a 4th round draft pick of the 49'ers in 2013, but he never quite took off in San Francisco. For his career, he's totaled 73 catches for 880 yards. With New York he would reunite with offensive coordinator John Morton, who was San Francisco's receivers coach when Patton entered the league. Morton was the Saints WR coach previous year when Patton registered new career highs with six receptions for 106 yards against New Orleans on November 6, marking Patton's first 100-yard receiving game of his career.

The Jets have announced that the four-year 49ers wideout has visited.

In two seasons at Louisiana Tech, Patton started 25 games while tallying 183 receptions for 2,594 yards and 24 TD.
