It's not as though Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will start taking a page from the "conscious uncoupling" playbook of Pitt's ex-girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow and go on family vacations together again.

A source from People revealed that Pitt doesn't see his love life as a priority now according to a Thursday report. The 53-year-old actor is reportedly creating a sculpture with the help of his friend.

A source claimed that Pitt is reconnecting with his old buddies, telling People magazine, "He often has friends over". After her trip, Brad Pitt also took the children out for a day filled with cheeseburgers and all of their favorite treats.

The two parted ways abruptly when Jolie, 41, filed for divorce - a Pitt source said at the time that it was a "complete shock" - after a family dust-up on a private plane. So very good news! "He seems much happier". They have six children: Maddox, 15; Pax, 13; Zahara, 12; Shiloh, 10; and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight. 'This is a work in progress'.

However, in the wake of those reports that Pitt is "delighted" about having a child with Hudson, rumors are soaring that she has begun a new romance. News that things have slowly calmed and settled between Brad and Angelina.

But how is Brad faring now that he's split from Angelina Jolie and allegedly dumped by Hudson?

'It was a rough time, but they were able to resolve it, ' added the source.

Last month Jolie said the Legends Of The Fall actor was a "wonderful" father. What's more, it seems as though it was the children themselves that drove Pitt and Jolie to make more direct contact, as the source shares that the decision came "at the recommendation of the children's therapists and their own". With that, the former Mr. and Mrs. Brad Pitt opened their communication lines once again. E!

Moreover, no one was all that interested, more than usual anyway, in Pitt's whereabouts one year ago, figuring all was status quo for the busy father of six.
