"Galaxy S8 Red Screen" was one of the top search terms on Naver, South Korea's largest search engine, this morning.

Anticipation is high for the worldwide release of Samsung's next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8, this Friday.

In addition to the new design innovations, Samsung delivers cutting-edge technology including an advanced camera, enhanced performance and more to the devices that users love.

Coming to replacing the front display, it looks like it is almost impossible to replace the front glass without damaging the curved display.

According to a reliable source, as claimed by Gadgets360, Samsung Galaxy S8 would be available in India starting from May 5 for a MRP of Rs 62,600. It has got an aspect ratio of 18:5.9.

Samsung S8 and S8 plus devices have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core (2.35 GHz Quad + 1.7 GHZ Quad) processor. Both the smartphones comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with microSD support up to 256GB.

The discovery comes as the South Korean tech giant has been promoting the Galaxy S8 smartphones to put to rest the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 phablet, whose production was suspended previous year due to some of the devices catching fire while charging around the globe. On the software front, the Galaxy S8 series runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

This time around, the company has incorporated several new things in Galaxy S8 and S8+.

Interestingly, the publication's hunt for the virtual home button led to nothing, revealing no pressure sensor under the display cabling. The company has also upped the security feature with an iris scanner, face recognition and fingerprint scanner - moved to the back of the device - to unlock the device. Samsung aims to give tough competition to Apple's Siri and Google Assistant with its own Bixby. The smartphones also come with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.

The phone's camera can selectively focus on what the user desires and also comes with exciting modes like food mode to enhance the experience of photography.

Connectivity options include a USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v5.0, Global Positioning System and NFC. Ahead of the launch, Flipkart had already put up banners on the site announcing that pre-orders for the two smartphones will begin on April 19 at 12 noon.
