The joint bid to host the world's biggest sporting tournament was announced today in Manhattan, New York by the heads of the Canadian, Mexican and American federations.

Gulati said the joint bid has the full support of the USA government, adding that President Donald Trump is especially pleased Mexico is part of the bid.

The U.S. hosted the 1994 World Cup. Following on the boring destinations Russian Federation and Qatar are seemingly set to provide as the next two World Cup hosts, we're gonna need it. All matches from the quarter-finals onwards would be in the United States which hosted in 1994.

"The general parameters of this bid are a World Cup of 80 games".

Leaders from Mexico, Canada and the US said their bid would also differ from the tournament's most recent and upcoming hosts, who spent billions to create stadiums and tourism infrastructure. The 2018 World Cup is scheduled to be in Russian Federation, while the 2022 World Cup is slated for Qatar, human rights violations be damned. The new-look tournament will comprise an initial round of 16 three-team groups, with 32 qualifiers going through to the knockout stage.

Asked whether he expects bid competition, Montagliani replied: "Could be". And since the 2014 World Cup, El Tri has played 27 times in the United States compared to only eight times in Mexico, regularly filling large National Football League stadiums with fans paying in US dollars rather than Mexican pesos. "And that was in the last couple of days that we were given further encouragement on that". "We've got 500 million people in these three countries". The success of that World Cup spawned the birth of Major League Soccer, which has grown to 22 teams two decades later. Because of term limits, Trump could not hold the office in 2026. The World Cup final was held in Vancouver with semifinals in Edmonton and Montreal.

In a game that seemed more like an exciting tennis match, both Everton and Leicester went goal for goal before the home side stretched out a two goal lead to win it 4-2.

The 2026 tournament will be the first of the expanded format.

According to FIFA's timeline, a decision is supposed to come in May of 2020.

It looks like the USA and CONCACAF know it.

But Gulati touted the financial clout of the North American bid.

Should the three-nation bid earn hosting rights, a debate is likely to ensue as to whether each should receive automatic qualification to the tournament.

Trump derided Mexico as a source of rapists and criminals in his campaign and has vowed to build a wall on the southern border.

"We have the full support of the United States government in this project, : said Gulati". He added that the president of the United States is fully supportive and encouraged them to have the joint bid. He is especially pleased that Mexico was a part of this bid. I think it's definitely a statement in a very short time.

Canada hosted the 2015 Women's World Cup, which was deemed a success both on and off the field.
