Xiaomi has revealed the Mi 6 today at an event in Beijing. There's also the fact this phone may not reach Europe or the USA anytime soon as main target markets are India and China. The Xiaomi Mi 6 doesn't only look great, it is also quite powerful. And keep its price accessible. To make things better, the Ceramic Edition gives it a little bit more character and class compared to the ordinary Mi 6. After all, the handset features the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, also found in the Samsung Galaxy 8, and it includes no less than 6GB of RAM. Not many, and none for this price. The other popular smartphone now released with the chipset is the Samsung Galaxy S8, which costs significantly higher than the Xiaomi Mi 6.

New flagships have to be truly special to stand out from the crowd when you have high-end smartphones like the Apple iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy S8 at the top of the pack. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the lower side bezel.

It has an under-glass Fingerprint sensor at the front. There is dual-tone LED flash and a PDAF for the rear camera.

While the device isn't exactly IP68 certified, Xiaomi has sealed all areas of the device to be "splash resistant". The out-of-box update is the removal of headphone jack from it, making the user to use the USB jack type-C port for music or headphones. The iPhone 7 Plus has nearly the same specs, down to the lossless zoom level, save for the aperture on the second lens which is f/2.8 as opposed to f/2.6 on the Mi 6. Speaking of the display screen, as usual, the Mi 6 gets a 5.15-inch panel with eye care to reduce harmful blue rays while at the same time retaining true colors.

Xiaomi has given the Mi 6 a dual-lens camera setup for the rear camera duties. The resulting images should be clear and sharp.

Xiaomi Mi 6 is the company's latest flagship phone featuring Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, and a dual-lens primary camera setup with 2x lossless zoom. As said earlier you have not given any option to expand the storage via microSD card. You have two options when buying this handset. It's set to hit stores in China on April 28. But also there will be three variant in this smartphone with different prices. As its name suggests, this model sports a ceramic back cover which is just stunning. There is a version that has 18-karat gold rims around the camera. The 6GB + 64GB version is priced at RMB 2,499, the 6GB + 128GB version is priced at RMB 2,899 and the Ceramic edition is priced at RMB 2,999.
