Lucasfilm to develop more Star Wars spin-offs soon

While Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy recently dismissed rumours that Carrie Fisher would appear in the third instalment of the Force Awakens trilogy, she hasn't been so eager to cut down the possibility of the Star Wars films getting their first ever gay subplot. We know that Josh Trank's movie was going to be a story surrounding Boba Fett, but his removal from the project seemingly has left the door open for anything following the release of the Han Solo film and Episode IX.

"To be honest, we are beginning to talk about [the spin-offs] right now", says Kennedy. Johnson is now hard at work editing The Last Jedi.

The concept art included in the email displays scenes reminiscent of locations and sets familiar with Star Wars fans and mentions live performances, lightsaber training and personalized secret missions that would be available as part of two-night, all-inclusive package that will cost roughly $900 to $1,000 per guest. We have four or five weeks immersed in the film Han Solo and we are about to read the script of Colin Trevorrow's Episode IX, so we have a lot of work at the moment. As we reported earlier, there is a lot of fan support behind the Kenobi movie but it is not known to be in development yet. In some circles you find you're a master and in some circles you're still a Padawan, we should always be learning, all of us.

Rey continues her epic journey with Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the saga.

I certainly foresee movies past nine. If the story warrants it, we'll absolutely do it.
