That's when you'll be playing Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, the next entry in the on-again-off-again will-they-or-won't-they fighting game crossover series, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and/or PC.

Fans can pit heroes and villains against each other on PS4 and Xbox One on September 19.

Fights feature two characters per team instead of the three of the last game, with the ability to switch between them at any time during a match. From the initial announcement trailer, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite 's story will revolve around Ultron. These new characters will make things interesting as well, adding their own little flavor to the Marvel vs. Capcom formula.

Check out the story trailer below.

Along with the release date, Capcom has updated its character roster with more heroes and villains.

Infinite Power: Pulled from classic Marvel lore, unique and game-changing Infinity Stones can be implemented into players' strategies as a way to influence the outcome of battle.

Pre-orders for MARVEL VS. CAPCOM: INFINITE are available beginning today on all platforms for the $59.99 MSRP Standard Edition and $89.99 MSRP Deluxe Edition.

This is the first time for Ultron though, who seems to be the primary bad guy along with Mega Man X villain Sigma.

Marvel vs Capcom Ultimate has a brand new trailer, finally revealing the reason why Marvel's superheroes and Capcom's stable of video game characters will do battle once again.

You'll also be able to use one of the six Infinity Stones to augment whoever you choose, which harkens back all the way to the original Marvel Super Heroes game from 1995. But, alas, the wait is over, as the company has graced us with a new trailer, which you can enjoy below.
