The concept behind the design that a laptop can be changed into a tablet remains the same. There are reports claiming that the Surface Pro 5 will be the end of device's signature in using a docking port for charging.

Microsoft seems to be prioritizing its own Surface devices for the Creators Update rollout as well. As the China Compulsory Certificate (CCC) gave their thumbs up to the Microsoft Surface Pro 5, this suggests that the device is nearly ready for its big reveal.

Also, reports claim that the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will come with two display variants that include a 2K and a 4K resolution. As the USB-C feature will not be available for the upcoming device, the feature will be a major disappointment for tech enthusiasts considering the connectivity standard is being adopted by several hardware manufacturers, Tech News-Gazette reported.

According to TechAdvisor, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be debuted with a Surface Dial, which has the same as the Surface Studio all-in-one PC. Besides, the device will be a home to Intel's latest Kaby Lake Core i7, as described by Forbes reporter Ewan Spence.

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 even speculated to provide the most innovative forms in its tiny detachable laptops. The touch screen stylus will also be included by default with an upgraded design from Pro 3's awkward plastic to Pro 4's more elegant magnetic attachment which is far better than iPad Pro 2. This is a move Apple had already taken for its iPad Pro's pen and the same will be expected to incorporate in iPad Pro 2.

However, Microsoft has yet to confirm the rumored reports regarding the Surface Pro 5 and the upcoming low-priced Surface product in the coming days.
