Trailer of Jyotika's 'Magalir Mattum' released

In her speech, Jyothika asked directors of big hero films not to write dumb characters and double meaning dialogues for heroines.

Speaking at the event about her experience working with a group of proven actors and filmmakers, Jyothika made some sensational comments and requests to Tamil film directors. she said "When you are writing heroine roles for us, please keep your mother, sister, wife in mind and show us in a good as well as respectful manner. People who tweet various rumours on social media should think before leveling baseless allegations", said Jyothika in a recent interaction. The actress was quoted saying, "I have a message for big film directors".

"Bhanupriya's dubbing is better than mine, she looked very cute". At a time when filmmakers continue to use women as eye sweets, films like Magalir Mattum are a refreshing change. She dances, rides a motorbike and makes amusing faces, which is all a part of her bubbly heroine image from her early films.

Jyothika also thanked the men in the Sivakumar family for being a great support.

Jyothika at the audio release function of her new picture Magalir Mattum has given a sharp word to the directors of the films who always run around the Hero of the film and uses a heroine in the film just for that glamour effect to be added to the picture.

Suriya also invited his mom to the stage saying that this is the right film to honor her.
