NFF signs N2.5billion agreement with Aiteo

Aiteo group confirmed the deal in a tweet. The company is the successor entity to Sigmund Communnecci Ltd.

"This will make it easier for us to plan adequately for our national teams", the NFF president said.

"Aiteo Group is now the official optimum partner of the NFF for the next five years", the company stated.

"As Aiteo Group is breaking grounds in all spheres, we share a vision of excellence to promoting the delight of football -loving Nigerians".

At the signing ceremony witnessed by stakeholders in the football industry at Eko Hotel and Suites, the Deputy Managing Director of Aiteo, Mr. Francis Peter said the deal would commence on 1 May, and will last for five years with an initial option of a one-year extension.

"When Amaju (Pinnick) was contesting to head the federation in 2014, I said then that because of what he has done with Delta State football he was capable of taking Nigeria to the final of the World Cup".

"Aiteo Group's overarching social responsibility objectives are to encourage a positive impact, through our activities on the society-at-large and has successfully done so for several years", Aiteo's Ndiana-Abasi Matthew said.

The current Super Eagles boss, Rohr is reportedly being owed over five months' salaries by the NFF.

With the new deal, Aiteo is now the exclusive "official optimum partner" of the NFF.

In his remark, Amaju Pinnick who expressed his delight claiming the pact will cover a "critical area" of the NFF's spending.

Dikko explained that the indigenous oil giant has the right to use the images of all national football teams in their commercials.
