The model will kick off at $22,380 for the entry-level S front-wheel drive model and this includes the $960 destination charge.

M - Eager to get your hands on the all-new smaller, sportier and more stylish incarnation of Nissan's best-selling US vehicle, the Rogue? The Rogue Sport SV starts at $23,980, while the SL model starts at $27,030.

While the rest of the world has the Qashqai, Americans will soon get the 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport to satisfy the demand for a smaller version of the standard Rogue in the Nissan lineup. The Japanese automaker just announced the pricing and on-sale date for the 2017 Rogue Sport.

That $21,420 starting price is for the Sport S FWD model. All-wheel drive adds $1,350 across the board.

With two rows of seating, an inline-4 that makes 141 horsepower, and a continuously variable automatic transmission, the Nissan Rogue Sport is an organic response to our current environment: no hair is too fine for splitting when it comes to selling crossovers.

Although it is narrower, Nissan claims that there is adequate space for 22.9 cubic feet of cargo when the rear seat is pushed up and 61.1 when the seats are down. Also available are leather seats with heated front seats, SiriusXM satellite radio capability, a 7.0-inch NissanConnect touchscreen with navigation and app integration, a rearview camera, Nissan's Around View Monitor, adaptive cruise control, Nissan's Divide-N-Hide Cargo System, and more.
