At least three of the people injured were passengers on the bus.

Three people from the bus were also taken to St. Mary's Hospital, Fire Media said. Two were hospitalized in good condition, one in serious condition. "When we got here, the driver was apparently unconscious because he was hanging out of the auto and non-responsive", said Malinda Demery.

Neighbors say the sound of the crash woke them up. "It's sad, very sad", Malinda Demery told the station. The CTA has been re-routing #20 Madison buses while police investigate the crash. The cause of Saturday's crash remains under investigation.
