'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' Continues To Break All Box Office Records

PK, which previously had the honour of being India's highest earning film, has now slipped to the number three spot, with around Rs 792 crore in lifetime, worldwide box office collections.

According to Ramesh Bala, a movie industry tracker, the total earnings of the movie up to Wednesday are Rs 1475 crore.

The Hindi version of "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" has now become the highest grossing film in Bollywood and is eyeing the Rs 400 crore club, said trade expert Taran Adarsh. Infact, as per the sources, the vital ground work for the adaptation of Baahubali 2 as a television series has already been started.

The movie which stars Prabhas, Anoushka Shetty, Tamannah and Rana Dagubatti has been creating waves ever since it released on April 28, 2017.

Movie like Meri Pyaari Bindu, Sarkar 3, Hindi Medium and Half Girlfriend have released post Baahubali: The Conclusion, but couldn't stop the dream run of this magnum opus.

In the United States, the movie has become the first Indian film that has crossed the Rs 100 crore benchmark.

With no competitors, Baahubali 2 achieved a thunderous performance at the global box office and collected Rs 1,250 crore gross in two weeks. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared on Twitter, "The UNTHINKABLE has happened: #Baahubali2 is the FIRST INDIAN FILM to cross 100 cr in NORTH AMERICA on Saturday".
