Most Suns fans think the NBA's lottery system is rigged

Game tomorrow against a tough Cleveland team.

Now that we know it's No. 1 overall, here's what I want the Celtics to do: shop the pick. The Sixers, at first, drew the fifth overall pick in the lottery, but, because of the trade, managed to swap picks with the Kings to take the third overall pick instead. Reid has the Celtics taking Tatum with the No. 1 pick and the Lakers taking Ball with the No. 2 selection. However, if the C's do end up being able to trade the pick in a win-now type move for Butler or George, that would bode very well for Jazz fans as one very possible landing spot for Hayward would likely be closed down.

The timing was flawless for the Celtics, as Brooklyn finished with the worst record in the league.

The 76ers will pick third, while Phoenix fell two spots and is fourth. The 2 most storied franchises in National Basketball Association history took the top 2 spots in the lottery, Boston first and LA second. I don't know how truly appealing adding a number one overall pick to the mix would be for Hayward, but more than anything it would allow Boston to still have the cap space to comfortably add him as a free agent. And given how bad the Nets will probably be next season, I don't see how that wouldn't be considered an extremely valuable trade chip.

Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Steve Nash are gone, though on Tuesday they won't be forgotten.

Their victory made it three straight years the team with the best odds has won the lottery, after going the previous decade without a victory. Will older players benefit from the rookie season of Malcolm Brogdon?

No, Dennis Smith, De'Aaron Fox, Malik Monk and Jonathan Isaac are not Markelle Fultz and Lonzo Ball.

The Magic did not get the ideal scenario for sure, even if they got the statistically probable one. "It makes a lot of sense to keep these picks".

Not only that, but they would have had to trade their 2019 first-round pick to Orlando if that happened, so Johnson was all smiles even after finishing behind the rival Celtics. "If you're going to trade these picks for an established star making max, you've got to send max money out the door as well", he said. "So now the fans back home can breathe a little easier".

The Dallas Mavericks are ninth and the New Orleans Pelicans are 10th.
