The Queen has has visited a hospital in Manchester where staff have been working endlessly to save as many peoples' lives as possible.

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Edgbaston was reportedly on lock down this evening after security staff raised the alarm about a man behaving suspiciously. Evie is just 14 and had gotten her concert tickets as a birthday present.

An NHS spokesman said 23 of the injured are now in critical care suffering from serious injuries.

Photos from the visit show the Queen smiling brightly while visiting Millie Robson, a 15-year-old victim of the attack who was wearing a Grande t-shirt in her hospital bed.

"She's lovely, it was just. mindblowing really - you just wouldn't really expect it", 15-year-old Millie Robson from County Durham told Sky News after meeting the queen. "My wife (Pauline) is now in intensive care, and Samantha (Sorrell's mother) is recovering from surgery as she tries to make sense of the devastating loss of her daughter". Grande, she said, was a "very good singer".

Her Majesty, the Queen of England, has recently proved that she can relate to the young generation when she visited a hospital ward.

The Queen told victim Evie Mills, 14, and her parents: "It's terrible". Her friend died in the blast.

Emily Murrell, 12, missed the Queen's visit due to a surgery.

Michael Healey, the grandfather of Sorrell Leczkowski, has said he is "absolutely heartbroken" to confirm she was killed in the Manchester attack.
