Megyn Kelly made her debut as a NBC News anchor on Thursday's Today show, but she was not in the New York City studios with her colleagues.

It seems that Megyn Kelly's new show on NBC will premiere this Sunday with a guest just as big as President Donald Trump himself - Russian President Vladimir Putin. Her picture had this caption: "Things are looking up in St. Petersburg - the rain stopped.& I will interview President Putin on Friday". The former Fox News anchor's new NBC show, Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly, debuts on Sunday at 7/6C. "The questions only he can answer, the questions only she can ask", a male narrator dramatically claims over clips of Megyn at her new news desk.

On "Today", Kelly noted that Putin has said allegations of Russian interference in the election are a "fiction" invented by Democrats.

Russian President Vladimir Putin attends a meeting with heads of worldwide news agencies at the St. Petersburg global Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, Russia, Thursday, June 1, 2017. For the record, Narendra Modi is the world's most followed politician with over 30 million Twitter followers.

"If Vladimir Putin is indeed the great enemy of the United States, then at least we should try to understand him", Stone said.

NBCUniversal is reportedly hoping to jack up ad rates for Megyn Kelly's morning news program launching later this year. NBC News senior executive producer David Corvo and Dateline NBC executive producer Elizabeth Cole are working with Kelly to build the new Sunday night franchise.
