In an emotional message on Twitter, the 23-year-old singer had announced: 'I'll be returning to the incredibly fearless city of Manchester to spend time with my fans and to raise money for the victims and their families.

After singing acoustic versions of his hit songs "Love Yourself" and "Cold Water", Justin Bieber took a moment to pay tribute to those who could not be at the concert.

"No matter what is happening in the world, God is in the midst, and he loves you, and he's here for you."

Ariana Grande's all-star benefit concert for victims of last month's attack following her show in Manchester, England, has won over a critic in Piers Morgan. "I love you guys so much and I think the kind of love and unity that you're displaying is the medicine the world really needs right now".

MILLIONS tuned in last night to the BBC broadcast of the One Love Manchester concert hosted by Ariana Grande, featuring some of the biggest names in music.

Angel-voiced soloist Natasha Seth, 12, was joined by Grande herself, who held the girl's hand - then, as the emotion became too much for the youngster, put her arm around her shoulder and squeezed her tight.

This included U.S. favourites Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber.

The 23-year-old pop star, who had last been seen looking tearful as she embraced her boyfriend upon her arrival in her hometown of Boca Raton, Florida, returned to Manchester to spend the weekend visiting victims of the attack in hospital before performing for 50,000 people.

If the three-hour "One Love Manchester" concert demonstrated anything, it's how deeply the internet generation believes in the broadest concept of love.

Perry played an emotionally-charged set that included a performance of her 2013 track "Roar", asking fans to shout "I love you" at each other while leading a singalong.

Coronation Street's Faye Brookes revealed over the weekend that she was just metres away from the bomb.

The concert featured performances by Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Take That, Niall Horan, Little Mix, Robbie Williams and Black Eyed Peas.
