It also reported that the girl was raped in the train as well and her private parts were wounded.

However, she was referred to the Patna Medical College and Hospital when her condition deteriorated on Saturday afternoon as she was allegedly left unattended.

When she became unconscious, they took her to the railway station, boarded a train and raped her again before throwing her out from the running train near Kiul railway station.

The terrible incident took place at Lakhochak village under Chanan police station in Lakhisarai district on Friday, bringing back memories from 2012 Delhi's Nirbhaya case. However, the cops said that the girl was raped, but denied her version of a gang-rape. It was only when the media took it up that the authorities swung into action. "I could hear them speaking that they should kill me and they threw me out of the train". The brother alleged that guards had demanded money for a bed. "After about 12 hours of frantic search, we found her at Kiul railway station".

"Her legs and waist were badly fractured and she has suffered heavy loss of blood. Her condition is very critical", a PMCH doctor who chose to not to be named was quoted by the DNA.

The girl was abducted when she stepped out to answer the nature's call.

While police investigation is in process, the girl's brother claimed that one person has been arrested. "An FIR was lodged on the basis of her statement on Saturday", Station House Officer of Chanan, Sunil Kumar Jha told TOI.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said action was being taken against the accused.
