The Dodgers scored four times in the eighth inning against Miller and hung on for a 6-4 victory over the Indians. The home run was Puig's 10th of the season.

Miller was still in a state of disbelief following the Dodgers' 6-4 win over the Indians.

After taking a 1-0 lead, the Dodgers ran a double steal with men on first and third, in order to sacrifice Joc Pederson on the way to second and score Chris Taylor. "I didn't think it was even going to threaten the warning track, to be honest with you".

"Obviously, I didn't do my part", he said.

LA is rolling with LHP Rich Hill on Thursday for the start.

"You really have to shorten up your swing, and it was basically battle mode", he said.

With the game tied at 2 and one out in the eighth, Miller surrendered a homer to pinch hitter Kike Hernandez.

Puig finished the evening with two hits, Cody Bellinger homered twice, and the Dodgers prevailed, 7-5, making it five straight wins entering Wednesday.

Indians manager Terry Francona understands why people are surprised to see Miller struggle.

"Actually, I threw a lot of bad pitches tonight that didn't get hit", Bauer said. "It's a credit to him that when he doesn't have his best stuff he was still able to keep us in the game", Roberts said. I hate to be, I'm not a Debbie downer or anything, but I didn't much feeling because it was a 7-2 game and I was trying to get on base.

"I reacted that way", Puig said through an interpreter after the game, noting that he was spontaneously responding to a group of hecklers at Cleveland's Progressive Field. He underwent a battery of tests and was released early Wednesday.

Puig chose to appeal the suspension, and was in the lineup on Wednesday.

He will hope for a little more support after Cleveland was limited to six hits and two runs through the first eight innings Tuesday night before a late three-run homer forced the Dodgers to turn to closer Kenley Jansen for the final out. Batting from the left side of the plate, Ramirez hit a hanging breaking ball on a 2-2 count over the wall, but the Dodgers had an answer in the form of a four-run eighth inning.

The climactic moment in the ballgame came in the sixth, when Miller left all three of his inherited runners stranded on a bases-loaded strikeout of Puig...

"I made it clear I was not pleased with what he did", Roberts said.
