And Adele - who also visited victims a day after the tragic blaze - has continued to show her support, by meeting up with the heroic firefighters for a "cup of tea and a cuddle".

The tragic inferno in west London has killed at least 79 people - and since the fire occurred, so many have shown their support in different ways for those who have lost their homes and lives.

And now, the 29-year-old has taken more time out of her busy schedule to visit the heroes who risked their lives to rescue those still trapped in the burning block.

Photos of Adele's visit were posted to Facebook by Rob Petty, who captioned the pic, "Not everyday the wonderfully grounded and caring Adele pops into Chelsea Firestation for a cup of tea and a cuddle x".

Eyewitness Tom Maughan told the Press Association: "She was so nice".

One person commented: "It's fantastic that she stopped by to see you all".

The same might be said for Adele and her act of kindness. It was about 1am, she came with her husband.

The singer, who hails from Tottenham, was pictured wiping tears from her eyes and hugging those affected by the tragedy.

The social media images showed her dressed in black and looking emotional.

Lily Allen attended a protest which she live-streamed, while Simon Cowell will release a charity single to raise money for the victims.
