Get yourself a Philadelphia 76ers jersey.

And the architect of that deal, 76ers GM Bryan Colangelo, was certainly feeling himself on Monday. "If the more favorable of the Sixers' and Kings' 2019 first-round picks is the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, the Sixers will instead convey the rights to the less favorable of those two picks".

"I really don't pay a lot of attention to it", Fultz said of the trade rumors. "The player chosen may end up being a franchise-level player".

Although the Boston Celtics made it deep into playoffs, they landed this year's No. 1 pick in the draft. They selected Ben Simmons previous year, but he missed all of the 2016-17 season with a broken foot.

"I'm pretty happy that the players here want me to come here". Talked about some of the interest that we had in No. 1. Plus, Ainge stockpiled another first-round pick, giving Boston the No. 3 pick this year; two first-rounders in 2018 (own pick, Brooklyn's picks) and a possible third first-rounder from the Los Angeles Lakers; at least one and possibly three first-rounders in 2019 (own pick and protected picks from Memphis and Sacramento). The Celtics will only receive the pick if it falls to the Lakers between selections No.

Over the weekend, the Celtics and the Sixers pulled off a rare feat: trading the No. 1 overall pick.

Philadelphia had the No. 1 draft spot three previous times, taking Doug Collins in 1973, Allen Iverson in 1996 and Ben Simmons a year ago. "We feel like it's a jump-start for us". "We're not mortgaging our future". "We are using house money here".

CAMDEN -There is no longer anything standing in the way of the 76ers acquiring Markelle Fultz.

"I just wake up and go where they tell me to go", Fultz said.

The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 23.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.9 assists in 25 games during his lone college season at Washington, excelling on a team that finished 9-22 and lost its final 13 games. Fultz, 19, is attractive for Philadelphia because he can play point and shooting guard.

Luke Kennard stock is rising: Sporting News: Scouts see Kennard projecting favorably as an offensive player, one who shot 49.0 percent as a sophomore, including 43.8 percent from the 3-point line.

The 76ers may not be done dealing. "We're lining up options". However, with Philadelphia's move towards Fultz, how will this effect the rest of the NBA Draft?

"We think it's very good value", Ainge said of the deal. "I would venture to say we're going to be sold out this year playing to full capacity every night".
