The two point guard prospects are expected to have their names called early in Thursday's National Basketball Association draft, with Fultz expected to go No. 1 overall to the Philadelphia 76ers. Despite being linked in on-court comparisons, it looked like there was a small chance that the two could have been linked in another way.

In fact, Fultz was even considering signing with LaVar Ball's Big Baller Brand, according to a report by the Washington Post.

His trainer replied, "I don't think they've got money to sign nobody".

"I was thinking about it, but then I would make him money, though", regarding the Big Baller Brand.

Fultz: I don't know, honestly. The Washington product recently inked an endorsement deal with Nike, while Ball has become the face of Big Baller Brand.

The piece mentions that Nike has already thrown sneaker ideas at Fultz, one rep calling him on the night of the lottery for input on footwear.

It was going to be a stretch for BBB to sign Fultz. He has no relation to the Ball family and therefore wouldn't be willing to make such a big risk on his first shoe contract, especially when Nike's trying to give you that guaranteed $$$.
