The upcoming sequel Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle will see Black star alongside Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, and will feature references to Williams' much-loved character from the first movie.

Washington D.C. [USA], June 19: Actor Jack Black has recently revealed that the Jumanji sequel "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" will ensure that the late actor Robin Williams performance is not forgotten. They discover what he built during his time there, and all the things he left behind. "The audience will apparently be able to find clues left behind by Williams" character Alan Parrish.

"It's like he's there helping us without actually being there".

Jumanji did not show a whole lot of the jungle, but obviously by the title of the sequel you realize that the jungle is going to have a huge role to play in the movie.

"[In the original] you never got to see the inside world", Black continued.

The original film (in case you've been living in a jungle yourself), told the story of a young Alan Parrish being taken into the depths of the board game, Jumanji, only to escape the treacherous jungle when kids, Peter and Judy (Kirsten Dunst) release him 26 years later.

Hollywood funnyman Jack Black is only one of the stars that will be taking center stage for the reboot/sequel of Jumanji titled Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. "But I think we did a good job".

The film will reportedly involve four teenagers who stumble upon a vintage video game version of "Jumanji", and their survival as they get pulled into its setting.

It nearly sounds like Alan Parrish will provide the backbone for the movie, with his clues leading the main group of characters, led by Johnson and Karen Gillan, on their journey through the game's dense jungle.
