With the announcement of Crash Bandicoot's return previous year, fans were eagerly awaiting his next outing and hoping it could deliver on the same classic experience we all know and love.

This means the game could just be a timed exclusive.

It has been seven long years since we laid eyes on the lovable and insane bandicoot, but Crash is finally back!

Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg has revealed in an interview that the success of the recent Crash Bandicoot trilogy could lead to the company doing more with Crash.

The Game and Crash Bandicot N. Sane Trilogy dominate American and European June PlayStation Store charts. "So far, we are seeing some real passion for it, so that could lead to other things".

"Of course, we are always trying to find the next big thing".

Speculations are rife that Activision will soon be working with brand-new entries in the "Crash Bandicoot" series, as well as remakes.

The title released in June, topped the United Kingdom game sales chart landing at No. 1 during its first week of release.

Hopes were high with the launch of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, and our collective expectations were blown away with the final product; a remaster in the best possible way.

Overall, it is second in sales to the multiplatform "Ghost Recon Wildlands".
