John Lasseter and Josh Cooley joined one another on stage during the panel to talk a bit about Toy Story 4. Incredible, Holly Hunter, who is Elastigirl, Sarah Vowel, who plays their daughter Violet, Huck Milner, who replaces Spencer Fox as Dash, and - getting a whole lot of cheers - Samuel L. Jackson, who plays Frozone. Brad Bird will also add his vocal stylings once again, as diminutive fashion designer Edna Mode, whose virtues were extolled to comedy effect in the below video. Now, two years later, we finally have some new information on the sequel, which is currently slated for release on June 21, 2019. Incredible more often staying home to take care of baby Jack-Jack, whose superpowers - then unknown to his family - were revealed in a clip that showed him battling a raccoon with help from skills such as walking through solid objects, shooting lasers from his eyes, and coolest of all, multiplying into many Jack-Jacks. "The technology has gotten so much better; We can get them close to what we wanted to do in the [original]". The first clip (a work in progress), showed Jack Jack as he wanders outdoors after his dad falls asleep. "It's like driving a brand-new vehicle".

Nicole Paradis Grindle and John Walker are producing Incredibles 2, which is set for release on June 15, 2018.

Pixar also unveiled a new project from Monsters University director Dan Scanlon. The story follows two teenage brothers whose father died when they were too young to remember and they set out into this fantasy world to spend one last magical day with him.

Despite original reports, Lasseter has announced today that instead of Toy Story 4 being co-directed by both he and Josh Cooley, the latter will now be working as the solo director on the project. Performed by Anthony Gonzales, who voices Miguel in the film; and Benjamin Bratt, who lends his voice to Ernesto de la Cruz, the song was written by "Frozen" duo Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
