DOWN will meet Monaghan in Round 4B of the All-Ireland Qualifiers following this morning's draw.

The other Round 4B tie saw Armagh drawn against Kildare, the county formerly managed by current Orchard County boss Kieran McGeeney.

Both of those fixtures will take place on July 29 at Croke Park, Down first at 5pm and Armagh's game following at 7pm.

The dates, times and venues will be confirmed by The Central Competitions Control Committee on Monday afternoon.

Kildare will be without impressive midfielder Kevin Feely after he picked up his third black card of the year against Dublin yesterday and captain Eoin Doyle looks set to have a procedure performed on a broken thumb.

Monaghan will play Down in a repeat of last month's Ulster semi-final, while Armagh will face Kildare, beaten by Dublin in Sunday's Leinster final at Croke Park.

No beaten Leinster finallist has gone on to win their Round 4 qualifier since the Lilywhites did it in 2009. If Armagh and Monaghan win, then another draw will be required next Monday.
