Joe Hart is edging closer to a move to West Ham United after reportedly passing a medical.

And he feels Hart should have been treated better, having been jettisoned by Pep Guardiola after the Catalan's arrival previous year and subsequently loaned to Serie A side Torino.

Hart is still considered as the country's first choice keeper, maintaining his place in the national team despite his exile from City.

It was a very mixed last season for Hart at Torino with his spell at the club littered with gaffes and much-publicised errors.

The Manchester City goalkeeper spent the last season on loan at Torino, and revealed recently that he was likely to return to the Premier League.

Ahead of confirmation of Hart's loan move to West Ham, Hammers captain Mark Noble admitted that he feels the shot stopper has been harshly treated.

He returned to pre-season training at City but there is no hope of kick-starting his career there.

"This shirt's not mine", he told reporters. We've got high-quality goalkeepers and I will have to be playing at the top level, to the maximum of my ability, even to get in the squad.

Right-back Pablo Zabaleta become West Ham's first signing of the transfer window when he joined on a fee transfer from Man City following his release.
