The actor, who also plays Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, teased that he just might "break the fourth wall" in Deadpool 2.

Well, according to comments Brolin made on Good Morning America on Monday, maybe not.

With the ongoing hashtag battle between the Cable actor and Deadpool's Ryan Reynolds reaching an all time high (or low?), the comedy timing and punch dialogues will be worth the wait. "Not yet, not yet", Brolin said.

In fact, it's because Deadpool 2 is so amusing that an initially hesitant Brolin took the part in the first place. "Again, I may. I don't know". That's to me. When they asked me to do it, I was like, 'Ah, I do Deadpool and I'm doing the Thanos thing right now, and should I do it?' And my wife just said, 'Read it.

"It's not that I don't break the fourth wall". However, it looks like Josh Brolin is impatient ab he has already begun teasing out his movie and has begun teasing Deadpool 2 already. "He can be a lot of different things but he also can be very amusing", the actor said of his character who, despite having a serious demeanor, still has a sense of humor to keep up with the wacky antics of Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool.

Brolin even had an encounter with a real life Avenger, although this one was considerably shorter and much more adorable. Brolin, along with most of the film's cast, stopped by the D23 Expo over the weekend and posed with the Infinity Gauntlet he'll use to wreak havoc and shared the picture on Instagram.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018.
