"They are focused on the centre".

In an untoward development, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Karachi stalwart Naz Baloch ditched the party to join Pakistan Peoples Party on Sunday.

She said she felt as if she had come home as her father has been a staunch supporter of the ideology of the PPP's founder Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto.

She complained that PTI Chief Imran Khan is kept aloof from the woes of party workers whenever he visits Karachi.

PPP MNA Faryal Talpur also welcomed Naz Baloch in the party. "It is only party policies and its direction that I am against and is the main reason of my decision to quit the party", she further said.

She praised PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as true representative of the people, of democracy and women rights. "Imran sb did not give time to Sindh nor the organization", Naz Baloch said.

"I do not want to defame the party with whom I have had a good run", Baloch said, adding, "I have made complaints about what I feel male chauvinism in the party".

"I ask Imran to please rescue his remaining party, otherwise the situation will spiral out of control and these people who have their own vested interests will spoil the party mission", she warned. "My services being a daughter of Karachi under the leadership of Imran Khan are not a secret to anyone", she said.

She said that the PTI had lost the recent by-election on the Sindh Assembly constituency in Karachi as virtually the game of "musical chairs" was being played among four people of PTI as every time one among these four leaders was chosen as the president of Karachi chapter of the party. "Everything I have done has been for Pakistan", she told a questioner. She contested from NA-240 constituency in 2013 general elections and was the women from her constituency.

Regarding the law recently passed by the Sindh Assembly to strike down the National Accountability Ordinance-1999 (NAO) in the province, the CM said that former military ruler Pervez Musharraf had imposed the NAO when a state of emergency was declared in the country.

She said that she would continue doing the same under the leadership of the PPP.

"We will soon summon the assembly session and discuss issues on which the governor has raised objection (s), Shah said, adding, "The assembly is the supreme decision-making forum in the province", he said".

Naz Baloch was of the view that she was happy on joining the PPP.
