Ready to be terrified for the rest of the day?

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre series explores the origin story of its principal murderer in Leatherface, and if the latest NSFW trailer is any indication, it's going to be a family affair with murderous children and lots of bloody chainsaw action.

"Witness the beginning of your end". The full official description follows. It stars Stephen Dorff, Vanessa Grasse, Sam Strike and Lili Taylor.

Ten years after their 2007 film Inside shocked audiences with its blood-soaked imagery (think pregnant women and sharp scissors), directors Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo bring their sick sensibilities to a major horror franchise with the Texas Chain Saw Massacre prequel Leatherface.

While the trailer doesn't give too much insight to the newly rendered plot, what it does give is short clips that will fill you up with gory nostalgia: Leatherface making and trying on that infamously horrid human mask, the Sawyer family enjoying a wholesome dinner, murderous sheriffs and-of course-the bloody chainsaw that leads to infinite deaths.

According to Collider.com, a film website owned by Complex, the movie will be exclusively released to DirecTV customers on September 21, but will make its theatrical debut two weeks before Halloween. Pursued by an equally deranged lawman out for revenge, one of these teens is destined for tragedy and horrors that will destroy his mind, molding him into the monster we now call Leatherface.
