Meizu Pro 7 teased by company VP on Weibo, to arrive soon

While Meizu has confirmed that the Pro 7 will be announced next week, the company, obviously, did not mention a thing about the specs and features to expect when the phone breaks cover. "The smaller Pro 7 may sport a 5.2" FHD SuperAMOLED panel, a MediaTek X30 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, 64/128GB of storage, and USB-C. It is speculated to launch alongside the Meizu PRO 7 Plus. Apparently, the smartphone will cost about $480 outright, while a Plus version of the Pro 7 is supposed to sell for $555. Jeffrey has also posted some images, which we don't know are taken by the Pro 7 or not.

The Meizu Pro 7 has appeared in several leaks over the next couple of days, but now it's official. The smartphone is said to come with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage and will be powered by Helio X30 processor. The reason for calling it a window is because the secondary screen will show notifications for missed calls, SMS, chat messages along with date and time. If rumors are true, the Pro 7 will be priced at 2,799 Yuan (~$413) and 3,299 Yuan (~$486) for the 6 GB and 8 GB variant respectively.

Per previous reports, the flagship duo will add to the mobile imaging trend and come with a dual camera setup on the back consisting of a 12 MP Sony IMX386 sensor and an IMX286 sensor also at 12 MP. The front-facing camera of the PRO 7 will be of 16-memgapixel.

If the reports are to be believed, the Meizu Pro 7 will ship with a 5.2-inch full HD display screen and it could be accompanied by a high-end Meizu Pro 7 Plus, which will feature a bigger 5.7-inch QHD display screen.
