Running the White House is a stressful job, but Donald Trump's team have found a unique way to keep a smile on the president's dial. In fact, he had several draft deferments, but finally, in 1970, joined the Marine Corps Reserve.

Andrew Hemming, 31, is the White House director of rapid response and is tasked with watching cable news, scouring through Twitter, and reading news online to find stories that portray Trump in a positive light, Politico reported on Tuesday. But as a politician, he referred to himself as having "served in Vietnam" or "served during the Vietnam era". The president has been called hypocritical by observers who point out he often criticized former President Obama for his vacations and even said he would not be out playing golf if he were elected.

In a series of tweets, Trump said: "Interesting to watch Senator Richard Blumenthal of CT talking about hoax Russian collusion when he was a phony Vietnam con artist!"

To a question "How well are things going in the country today", only nine percent said "Very well". He said that in the history of the United states, never has anyone defrauded or lied to voters like the ct senator.

Steele said in the interview that Trump was concerned mainly with his numbers and his level of popularity with the American people. "Now he judges collusion?" He also stated that no one is above the law.

Just over six months into his own tenure as President, Trump, 71, has been no stranger to golf's green pastures.

"You have 535 members of Congress who have a different view". Trump's opponents slammed him for continuously creating "conflict and drama" as well as "chaos", citing the failure to pass an act to repeal Obamacare in the Senate and the use of a grand jury by Special Counsel Robert Mueller who is in charge of investigating the ties between Russian Federation and Trump's campaign.

"On a few occasions, I have misspoken about my service, and I regret that", Blumenthal said at the time. He warned of a "chilling effect on the press and whistleblowers".

However, like all reports that come out of the White House, there are two sides to this.

He said "that investigation must be pursued".

Late in the afternoon he suggested that Blumenthal should vacation in Vietnam.

The Trump family has also been accused of benefiting from nepotism. "And what you should do is ask Senator Blumenthal about his Vietnam record that didn't exist after years of saying it did", he said.
