Starbucks Is Selling Bottled Pumpkin Spice Lattes

It's August, which means #fall is near. Speaking of which, Starbucks is still staying mum about when original the Pumpkin Spice Latte will be available for purchase at their outposts.

Starbucks can be blamed or praised for, in part, starting the pumpkin spice craze, with its "handcrafted" pumpkin spiced lattes that re-appear each fall.

It seems that every year brands are tripping over themselves to push the launch date of their PSL - which marks the unofficial start of autumn - earlier and earlier.

The coffee chain announced Thursday that its popular seasonal drink will hit the shelves of major grocery chains later this month.

The two new products hitting stores are a ready-to-drink Pumpkin Spice Latte (served iced) and Pumpkin Spice-Flavored Ground Coffee, which will allow you to recreate that same cozy fall feeling at home. The packaged version comes with coffee grounds that consist of "Starbucks lightest roast coffee with notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg".

Starbucks is rolling out a Pumpkin Spice Latte in a ready-to-drink container, which means you don't have to wait a few moments for your barista to whip up your drink. Adding a splash of milk or cream and sugar creates a drink that's less calorific than the in-store version.

An 11 oz. bag of the packaged version of the latte will retail for $9.99.
