After the 2013 W&S Open champ spilt up with the boy's father last month, the father filed custody papers in Los Angeles and the judge won't allow Azarenka to take the child out of California until the matter is settled, according to TMZ.

A nasty custody battle over her 8-month-old son forced former Western & Southern Open tennis champion Victoria Azarenka to drop out of this month's tournament, according to media reports. TMZ is reporting that a judge told Azarenka that the child can not leave the state until the dispute is settled, and Azarenka is unwilling to leave the child with McKeague because she does not think he is capable of caring for him.

Azarenka's attorney, famed divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, reportedly told the judge the tennis superstar would purchase a plane ticket for McKeague and accommodate him in a hotel for the duration of the tournament, but the offer was declined. Victoria Azarenka does not believe her ex-boyfriend is capable of caring for the eight-month-old baby. The gossip site also alleges the judge has refused to defer to Belarus' court, where Azarenka already has a valid custody order.

Azarenka was due to play in Cincinnati next week but it's unlikely she would attend.
