T.J. younger brother of one of the best defensive players in the National Football League, J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans, made his presence felt in his first game of National Football League action by recording not one, but two sacks in the first quarter of the game alone.

Although, the youngest Watt may not be known as J.J.'s little brother for much longer if he keeps playing as he did on Friday night, a point his elder sibling was quick to observe.

"And I looked and I was like, that was from Kendrick Lamar".

Speaking at Houston Texans training camp, Watt said he checked his phone Friday night and saw a text message from rapper Kendrick Lamar informing him of T.J. Watt's two-sack effort against the New York Giants.

Watt added with a laugh: "Two sacks in four plays made me question myself, because I played four plays the other day".

Naturally, J.J. immediately told T.J. about the text. "So, I texted him so he could see after the game what Kendrick said and I just thought that was like the craziest thing in the world, to see one of the best rappers in the world - possibly the best rapper in the world - text me about my little brother". "But it was just so cool. I'm very excited to watch him play", Watt said. "He's worked so hard, he's overcome a lot in his career". "A little disappointed (in myself)".

Watt said he was a little conflicted about what to tweet because his brother plays for another AFC team.

Hell, more performances like this and the younger Watt will be getting praised by more and more celebrities in due time. So I literally didn't know what to do. I don't like how this all works out.

"It's such a weird conundrum to be in, but it's an awesome problem to have to have all three brothers in the AFC, all competing for the title". "For now, he holds the bragging rights after one preseason game".
