New Zealand eased past Hong Kong in their second game of the Women's Rugby World Cup in Ireland as the Black Ferns ran out 121-0 winners over Hong Kong.

The Canadian squad opened Pool A play with a 98-0 rout of Hong Kong on Wednesday.

Woodman got the first of her tries in the seventh minute, Cocksedge touched down a minute later and the Black Ferns had chalked up their second bonus point of the tournament after 15 minutes when number eight Charmaine McMenamin touched down.

"We used our wingers really well, we know we have speed out wide and we wanted to use it", said New Zealand captain Fiao'o Fa'amausili.

Her eighth and final score in the final minutes showed off Woodman's blistering pace, as she ran the ball in from behind her own 10-metre line. The scrum-half Kendra Cocksedge scored a try and converted 13 of the tries.
