Florida wide receiver Antonio Callaway continues to make questionable decisions, and he was suspended again on Monday for reportedly misusing school-issued funds. I'll continue to support. Callaway has been suspended for the season-opener against MI due to accusations of misused school-issued funds. Keivonnis Davis, Richerd Desir-Jones, James Houston, Ventrell Miller, Jordan Smith and Kadeem Telfort also were suspended for their roles in the scheme. "These guys are doing that", he said.

The junior from Miami was cited for marijuana possession in May while he was a passenger in a auto with Kendrick Williams, a 40-year-old Gainesville man with a history of criminal charges.

"Obviously, Antonio Callaway has had several incidents now that people are wondering when's he going to straighten up", Spurrier said. "Guys that made choices, and then what do you do?" He was suspended for the 2016 offseason for a sexual assault allegation, an incident that he cited being high on marijuana during the time in question.

There's little doubt that Callaway's talent has kept him on the team through all his troubles. The team's top playmaker has 89 receptions for 1,399 yards and 11 touchdowns in two seasons.

McElwain said suspending Callaway and the others for the September 2 opener was a significant penalty because of the venue.

"Obviously, any time choices are made, you've got to make up for whatever happened". You take something away that really means something to them. In this case, their ability not to be around the team. "I think that is an important lesson".
