Rock of Ages 2: Bigger and Boulder will be making its way to PC on August 28th, and consoles the following day, August 29th. Developed by the irreverent minds over at ACE TEAM, the studio responsible for the bare-fist brawler Zeno Clash and the '70s sci-fi shooter The Deadly Tower of Monsters, the sequel to the surprise 2011 tower defence/racing game hybrid Rock of Ages was originally intended for release late previous year, but since its delay, the team has remained practically radio silent. The aim of the game is to use a large stone boulder to attack the enemy's castle at the bottom of the hill, while using various defensive structures to defend your own. Players can use a variety of obstacles to defend the path leading up to the castle, such as buildings, dynamite, windmills and animals.

You'll assist the Greek Titan Atlas as he makes his way through the ages, on a tour of periods for art like Surrealism, Impressionism, Renaissance, Late Gothic, and more. And he'll take all of the support he can get, because prominent figures throughout history are getting in his way; there's no time to gather moss - start smashing down those gates!

Roll through history, on the way crush, flatten, destroy or speed past your enemies as Rock of Ages 2: Bigger and Boulder will be released later this month. On Xbox One, you can get 10% off the game during its first week on sale.
